In previous Bud breakdown articles, we’ve covered how we approach data understanding and insight extraction. For many of our clients, that alone is a significant source of value, plugged into everything from digital channels to internal reporting. But the platform doesn’t stop there.

One of the most impactful areas where Bud contributes is campaigns. We use the term ‘campaign’ slightly more broadly than just marketing campaigns. A nudge reminding a customer about an upcoming bill (especially one that includes their available credit card balance) is a campaign. The same logic can apply to almost any insight, as long as it is properly contextualized.

Sending a message or showing an offer is not the end of the journey. The platform collects various direct and indirect metrics, and can also derive additional signals from shifts in customer behavior. All of this feeds back into the models, ensuring campaigns improve over time.

The most effective campaigns combine the right moment with the right message.
